Our Work: Jumbo Thai Restaurant

Andrew and Wasana Park’s new upscale Thai restaurant and bar in the Brisbane CBD is the couple’s latest (and largest) foray into the hospitality world.

Jumbo Thai Restaurant & Bar aims to elevate Thai food from the neighbourhood takeout staple to the focal point of a harmonious melding of culture and cuisine.

When Andrew approached Cinc Social Media, the restaurant was a few weeks away from its soft opening and they needed a new website, social media accounts and a strategy for launching the new restaurant.

The website needed to showcase the beautiful restaurant space, feature the menu and extensive drinks list and take online bookings. It also needed to be easy for the Jumbo team to update and launched in a short period of time.

We adapted a Squarespace template, adding custom fonts and styling it to match the brand guide Jumbo provided. The result is a fully-responsive website designed to introduce visitors and locals to the contemporary Thai food and drink that challenges and delights the senses.

The Jumbo Social Media Strategy guides Jumbo through the establishment phase of the restaurant and its social media accounts. It provides the Jumbo team with guidelines for developing effective content, growth strategies, engagement and moderation as the restaurant and its social media presence grows.

Finally, we worked with the Jumbo team to commit their very tasty Thai treats to paper by designing the menu and drinks lists.
